Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Service Manager, located in Herefordshire. As the Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our care services, ensuring quality and as the registered manager with CQC, ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
Day-to-day operational management of new and existing services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Ensuring services are safe, effective, and continuously improving in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
Leading, mentoring, and inspiring staff to deliver the highest quality of person-centred support.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with families, commissioners, and partner agencies.
Driving service development and innovation to meet the needs of the people we support.
Working as part of the senior management team to ensure strategic aims are achieved.

Qualifications
Essential:
Minimum 5 years' experience in care, preferably within learning disability or complex needs services.
At least 2 years' management experience leading and motivating teams.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, MCA/DoLS, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) with a commitment to complete Level 5 if not already achieved.
Desirable:
Experience working in service development or new service mobilisation.
Proven track record of engaging with commissioners and external partners.

Able to build strong relationships and inspire trust.
