This role requires a hands-on, dynamic leader who can balance people management, regulatory compliance, and business development to maintain and grow a high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership and management support to the multidisciplinary team.
Oversee service operations, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and staff performance.
Set and monitor budgets, ensuring financial sustainability.
Maintain high standards of care and service user involvement in assessments and support plans.
Promote and develop the service through business planning and external partnerships.
Lead and participate in review processes, audits, and meetings.
Ensure safeguarding, health, and welfare standards are met at all times.
Participate in on-call systems and provide out-of-hours support when required.
About You
QCF (NVQ) Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
Strong understanding of statutory requirements and CQC standards.
Proven experience managing residential or specialist care services.
Skilled in leading, supervising, and developing teams across disciplines.
Experience managing budgets, performance, and operational priorities.
Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
Flexible approach with willingness to work unsociable hours if needed.
