Thames Reach runs projects and services that help to end homelessness in and around London. We work directly with homeless people on the streets and in hostels. We work to prevent vulnerable people from becoming homeless. We help formerly homeless people get their lives back on track. We help people find work and access training and volunteering opportunities.

About this role...


We are looking for a Service Managers to join the team.


This new role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious team manager to use their skills to oversee the management and development of a group of services.


In this role, you will gain insight into the diverse services Thames Reach deliver and develop your experience as a strategic operational leader working in a dynamic environment. You will play a crucial role in operationalising Thames Reach's plans and shaping future service delivery and organisational growth.

You will be:


Supporting our vision through effective operational management of a complex group of services working across different boroughs. Managing, supervising and supporting team managers. Contributing to designing, delivering and continually improving service models, implementing teams aims, objectives and work plans Liaising with commissioners, stakeholders and partners, maintaining effective working relationships and representing Thames Reach to internal and external groups whilst operating within a changing environment. Ensuring accurate data is being collected and analysed to guarantee services are achieving good quality. Effectively managing the team and their budgets, ensuring these are controlled and being used efficiently.

You will have:


Experience of managing high performing support services/teams for vulnerable adults. Experience of managing and motivating teams through periods of change and development. Excellent written, verbal and numerical/financial skills. Demonstratable communication and relationship management skills. Proven organisational skills, able to set priorities and manage your time effectively.
