The Role



Fortem Solutions are currently recruiting for a passionate and driven Service Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This position is ideal for someone who is confident, driven and passionate to succeed

The Company



Fortem Solutions are a nationwide business specialising in the Social Housing sector. We provide Repairs & Maintenance, Retrofit, Capital Works and Decarbonisation workstreams within Local Authorities and Housing Associations.

Duties & Responsibilities



As the Service Manager you will lead a team of Planners and Customer Service Advisors who are responsible for planning and scheduling our tradespeople's diaries, all whilst keeping residents informed of appointments and status of jobs. You will be driving service delivery to meet, or exceed, KPI targets such as attending jobs within service level agreements, meeting first time fix, reducing travel time and providing an excellent customer service to all stakeholders. A key element of the role is managing and motivating a team, providing clear objectives, direction and leadership, ensuring the 'One Team' culture is embedded between the SmartHub team and the branch who deliver the service and the Fortem culture, values and behaviours are continuously promoted and practiced within the team.

What You Will Need



Essential: o Excellent communication, engagement and influencing skills o Experience of workforce electronic scheduling systems o Excellent planning and data interrogation skills o Positive proactive attitude o Experience of managing teams o Proven strong leadership skills o Excellent dispute resolution skills o Appropriate qualifications including GCSE English & Math's or equivalent o IT literate (Microsoft Office) o Professional approach with high standards o Full UK Driving Licence Desirable: o Experience of working in the Housing Sector o City and Guilds to appropriate level or equivalent experience o Understanding of /Experience of working with PDA's o Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, and statutory requirements in relation to the role
