The Practice is a training practice with a list size of just over 12,000 patients and is based close to the south side of the city centre.
The successful applicant will report to the Assistant Business Manager, and will first and foremost be responsible for the smooth running of the front desk and reception area as well as the secretarial and patient registration functions. You will be expected to provide an exceptional service, be an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail as well as the ability to lead a team of dedicated and committed individuals. The successful applicant for this role will be able to display sound leadership skills, deliver excellent customer service, have a positive 'can do' attitude, be willing to learn and have a caring and compassionate nature.
We are looking for an energetic person who can communicate effectively and who is committed to providing an outstanding customer service despite facing the current challenging times. You will recognise the importance of managing and developing staff and be committed to leading by example. You will have an aptitude for and be able to demonstrate excellent generic IT skills (MS Word, Excel and Power point). You will work effectively whilst under pressure, have a positive disposition and have previous experience of managing staff. Ideally, you should have experience of working in General Practice or a healthcare environment.
