Job Description

Budgen Renault Telford is seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our team. As the Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our service department. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service acumen, and a deep understanding of automotive service operations.

Responsibilities:



Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Provide coaching and guidance to enhance the skills and performance of the service team.

Customer Service Excellence:

Oversee the delivery of exceptional customer service throughout the service process. Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive customer loyalty and retention.

Operational Management:

Efficiently manage daily service operations, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation. Monitor and maintain service department efficiency and productivity. Implement and uphold quality control measures to ensure the highest standard of service.

Financial Performance:

Manage the service department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability. Drive revenue growth through effective upselling of service packages and maintenance plans. Analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.

Compliance and Standards:

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, manufacturer standards, and safety protocols. Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to continuously improve service offerings.

Qualifications:



Proven experience in automotive service management, with a focus on team leadership and customer satisfaction. Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets. Familiarity with dealership management systems and software. Leadership and team-building skills with a track record of achieving performance targets.
