Are you a motivated and experienced leader looking to make a real difference in urgent care services? We're seeking a dynamic

Service Manager

to oversee and drive excellence in our Urgent Care provision.



As Service Manager, you'll play a key leadership role - ensuring high-quality care, smooth day-to-day operations, and compliance with all regulatory standards. Reporting to the Head of Urgent Care, you'll be pivotal in shaping and improving service delivery, motivating teams, managing contracts, and acting as the CQC Registered Manager.



What you'll be doing:





Leading the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality urgent care services
Overseeing clinical and administrative teams to ensure service targets and KPIs are met
Driving continuous improvement, innovation, and staff development
Managing service contracts and external relationships (e.g., with commissioners, NHS(E), and CCGs)
Handling service user feedback, complaints, and incidents professionally and compassionately
Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and taking the lead as Registered Manager
Coordinating audits, business continuity plans, and financial oversight
Maintaining health and safety standards across the service site

What we're looking for:





Proven leadership experience in a healthcare or urgent care setting
Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and healthcare regulations
Ability to manage diverse teams and foster a positive working environment
Confident communicator, able to build strong stakeholder relationships
Organised, resilient, and committed to continuous service improvement
Experience managing budgets, audits, and operational performance
