Your Working Hours

This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave for 6 to 9 months.


From 1 December 2025, enhancement rates of 1.00 per hour will apply to:

Night working (8pm Monday - 7am Friday) Weekend working (8pm Friday - 7am Monday)
(This does not apply to sleep-ins.)


Please note: For this temporary role, you will not be required to take on CQC registration.

What You'll Do

As Service Manager, you'll provide clear leadership, direction, and supervision to a dedicated team -- ensuring Quantock House continues to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.

You will:

Lead, motivate, and develop your team to deliver outstanding support Promote positive outcomes and independence for residents Ensure compliance with health, safety, and care standards Manage budgets effectively and maintain a financially sound service Oversee recruitment, staff training, and performance management Foster a positive, inclusive environment built on respect and empowerment

What Helps You Shine Here

Recognised nursing or social care qualification and registration (as appropriate) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent Substantial supervisory or management experience in a care environment Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills A flexible, proactive, and people-focused approach
