The Repairs Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and repair operations within our organisation. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the repairs team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement repair schedules, prioritising tasks based on urgency and resource availability.
- Monitor the quality of repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and organisational standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate seamless operations and communication regarding repair needs.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, including materials used, time taken, and any issues encountered.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential maintenance needs before they become critical.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a role within a repairs or maintenance environment is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge related to repairs across various systems (e.g., Roller Shutters, Sectional Overhead Doors, Automatic Gates, Traffic Barriers)
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with a focus on efficiency and quality control.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software for tracking repairs and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- A relevant qualification in engineering or maintenance management is desirable but not mandatory.
