Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages promptly. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply as we value the ability to communicate with a diverse clientele.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the point-of-sale system. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. Process payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of meals. Assist in training new staff members as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a server role or similar position is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is an advantage. Ability to analyse customer needs and respond effectively to enhance their experience. Experience with data entry for order processing is beneficial. A friendly demeanour with a strong focus on customer service is essential.
