Role: Service Support Engineer

Location: London, onsite

The role:

1. Working with, maintenance and troubleshooting of Windows, Chrome OS, MAC OS and Linux
systems as well as Amazon AWS workspaces. Creating user accounts as required, making sure
it\'s done correctly the first time and every time. Arranging and preparing equipment for new
starters and old equipment replacements.

2. Managing end user requests using Zendesk ticketing system. Taking ownership of those
requests and seeing them through to completion via investigations, troubleshooting, escalations
to senior members of the team and external vendors where appropriate. Troubleshooting
Windows, Chrome OS, MAC OS, Linux hardware and software issues as well as managing VPN,
MS Office, printing/scanning, AV queries and incidents.

3. Working with, maintenance and troubleshooting of the following technologies/solutions:
Google Workspace Domain, Meraki Networking infrastructure, Telephony systems (Vonage
Contact Center and Vonage Business Cloud), Adobe cloud, Backupify, DaloRadius,
DirectPrint.io, Sophos,GAT+, GAT Flow)

4. Helping maintain an accurate and up to date log of IT assets and software/cloud licences
using Setyl asset management solution.

5. Working on/Managing projects such as office moves/expansions, new solutions
proposals/testing/deployments aligned with the business needs

6.Managing external supplier relationships (ISPs, Hardware and software providers)

7. Successful candidates will gain hands-on knowledge and experience working with IP hardware
phones, softphones, AV equipment for meeting rooms and communal areas. Will also gain
exposure to banking and trading applications and have an opportunity to work on larger projects
such as new office openings/office moves, software/solutions setups and rollout.

8. There will be a requirement to travel to other Ebury offices

Technical skills:

Must have:

1. Good knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems, their settings and ability to
troubleshoot issues with those. Knowledge of and experience working with AV equipment.

2. Experience working with Chrome browser, troubleshooting Chrome related and web page
access/loading issues.

3 .Good understanding of how computer networks operate and networking terminology, ability to
setup a simple flat network

4. Understanding of how IP telephony works and desirably experience working with IP phones
and/or softphones in high call volume type business

5. Experience working with printers/scanners and troubleshooting printing/scanning issues

Nice to have:

1. Experience working with Google Workspace as well as good knowledge of google applications
such as (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides). In depth knowledge of Google Workspace
Administration

2. Experience working with and troubleshooting MAC, Linux and Chrome Operating Systems.

3. Experience setting up/managing Routers, Switches and Access Points, VLANs, Firewall and
Switching Rules

4. Experience administering Zendesk, Vonage Contact Center, Vonage Business Cloud, Amazon
AWS networks and devices

5. Fluent written and verbal skills in English and Cantonese or Mandarin

Soft Skills

Must have:

1.Someone who is friendly and approachable with a genuine desire to help others

2.Someone with a \xe2\x80\x9cCan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude and believes there is a possible solution or at very least a
good workaround for all problems

3. Someone who is able to work with minimal supervision, able to work under high pressure and
to tight deadlines, seeking out new innovative solutions.

4. Successful candidates will also be happy to take on new responsibilities as and where needed
by the team and the business.

Nice to have:

1. An outgoing person, someone who loves meeting new people

2. A true tinkerer, someone who is genuinely interested in technology and gadgets and is able to
demonstrate through things like little projects at home or through being involved in
projects/innovations in their previous roles.
