The Opportunity
This role combines workshop-based preparation with regular site work, supporting specialist treatment systems deployed across the UK and Europe. You will be part of a close-knit technical team, working on equipment that has a direct environmental impact.

What You'll Be Doing
Workshop-Based Work
Prepare, test, and service treatment equipment prior to deployment and upon return
Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance, both preventive and corrective
Manage tools, spares, and ensure workshop readiness
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Site Work (UK & Europe)
Install and commission systems at customer sites
Diagnose faults and carry out on-site repairs and adjustments
Support commissioning engineers and ongoing service contracts
Work in line with company safety, quality, and compliance standards
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Complete service reports, checklists, and site documentation
Assist with FAT/SAT activities and field testing
Provide technical feedback to support product and process improvements
Customer Interaction
Act as a professional on-site representative of the business
Provide basic operational guidance to client operators
Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams
About You
Qualifications & Experience
Technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance (NVQ, HNC/HND, City & Guilds, or similar)
At least 2 years' experience in a service, maintenance, or field-based engineering role
Experience in wastewater, utilities, process equipment, or mobile plant is advantageous
Working knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, sensors, VFDs, and basic PLCs preferred
Skills & Personal Attributes
Practical, methodical, and solution-focused
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Comfortable working independently on customer sites
Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
Confident using digital reporting tools and Microsoft Office
Additional Requirements
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required
Fluent English; additional languages beneficial but not essential
