ServiceNow Developer

Our technology teams in the UK work closely with HSBC\'s global businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world, to bank quickly, simply and securely. We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world\'s leading international bank.

Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.

We work in small, agile DevOps teams with colleagues around the world from our offices at the Bluefin Building in Southwark, our global headquarters in Canary Wharf, and multiple other locations around the UK including Sheffield, Leeds, Barnsley and Birmingham.

Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plans for continued expansion throughout 20nn and beyond, we are currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join HSBC Technology.

The job holder is primarily responsible for ServiceNow Development. The primary responsibility includes managing the team\'s delivery & support incidents in the areas of various workflows that the application is comprised of. The role is expected to provide necessary technical support to team to ensure deliverables confirming to schedules & quality standards. Acts as the team\'s technical point of contact for day-to-day operations and as the technical lead works closely with the business partners to understand the requirements and translate them to work deliverables from the team members.

Specialists are also primarily responsible to drive process improvements & standardization in the respective areas to ensure improved quality and efficient services. The specialists are required to support to Management in delivery planning by technical & process related inputs for schedules, effort estimation and risk analysis and in identifying emerging technology trends. Qualifications

Experience in software development with working on Request workflows within the ServiceNow application.

Must have good exposure to Agile Scrum practices and methodology

ServiceNow certification (CSA, CIS)

Strong Core Java development experience

Demonstrated experience designing and developing process based solutions

Demonstrated experience documenting user case processes and BPM workflows

Ability to transform Business Requirement into Business Process,

End to End experience of ServiceNow -based application design and implementation

Well versed with class hierarchy, Updateset set hierarchy, data layer, flows, UI Action /policy, deployment, Integration, SOAP Service

implementation in ServiceNow , Integration

Excellent verbal, active listening and written communications skills along with demonstrated facilitation skills

Proven analytical and problem solving skills
