Service/Repair & Parts Coordinator

Bmi trailers are recruiting for a Service/Repair & Parts Sales team member who will be based in Dungannon, Northern Ireland servicing customers across the whole of the UK, Ireland and abroad.

Working as part of the overall sales department you will be responsible for the following duties:

Parts Sales

Follow up on all parts queries and process parts sales orders as they arrive.

Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with customers.

Identify customers needs and recommend appropriate products or services for and additional to their initial requirements.

Achieve sales goals and targets set by the company.

Resolve customer queries/complaints in a professional and efficient manner.

Keep accurate and up to date records.

Work alongside stores and purchasing teams regarding parts stock availability and accuracy.

Service & Repair

Scheduling all trailer repair jobs.

Prepare customer quotations as required.

Liaise with purchasing team regarding parts required for repair jobs.

Supervise a team of repair operatives ensuring repairs/tasks are completed as required.

Ensure work sheets are accurately completed and are input onto system for invoicing.

Engage in regular contact with customers.

Monitor payments and credit control on all repair clients.

Requirements

Previous experience in an engineering background with extensive parts knowledge is desirable.

Previous experience in a sales role, specifically in parts sales is desirable.

Previous experience supervising a team of staff is essential.

Ability to work independently and use own initiative as well as collaborate well in a team environment.

Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to upsell.

Computer literate.

Previous experience using ERP systems is desirable.

Hours: 38.5 per week (normally 7am-4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am-2pm Friday).

Competitive salary DOE.
