We are looking for someone to join our team to provide technical and cost-effective service quotations and assess feasibility of requested additional loads to the network to enable new or modified service connections on the distribution network, whilst upholding the Company's purpose, vision and values.
The successful candidate will apply technical knowledge and experience to assess customer's submitted Electricity Supply Enquiries (ESE's) for new or replacement services and additional load requests. Prepare firm quotations with terms and conditions for connection of new and replacement supplies to the distribution network within the KPI's that are declared in the customer charter whilst optimising on scale and cost.
Assess and approve or reject customer's additional load requests and ensure the connections have no adverse implications on the LV distribution network.###
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that all Construction industrial teams required are programmed effectively, this will also include efficient programming of the cable laying contractor.
Supervise and account for appointed Contractors, ensuring compliance to JE standards and adherence to contract via comprehensive monitoring and reporting systems (contract management Plan).
Ensure that Distribution Service faults are repaired promptly and supplies restored within JE security of supply standards
Research and work collaboratively with the Senior Planning Engineer / construction engineers and other relevant external and internal service providers and experts in the relevant disciplines/fields, ensuring that there is a comprehensive understanding of the Business needs both presently and in the future, ensuring research knowledge is applied and developed where relevant to enhance engineering and business practice.
Develop and maintain an appropriate professional relationship with relevant networks of support and personal development (CPD)
Ensure appropriate compliance with HS&E, Company procedures, Distribution Safety Rules and Industry best practice, ensuring that appropriate auditable records are kept.
Strive to ensure whole team delivers excellent levels of customer service.###
