Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Serving Staff to join our dynamic team, available for both full-time and part-time positions. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your role will involve ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and potential allergens, to provide informed service. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations to guarantee the health and safety of our guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow during busy periods. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Strong guest services skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous; training will be provided as necessary. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle busy service periods. A passion for culinary arts and food preparation is a plus, enhancing your ability to engage with guests about menu offerings.
