Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Provide menu information, assist with food choices, and take orders accurately. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing assistance as needed. Assist in bartending duties when required, ensuring responsible service of alcohol. Support catering events as necessary, contributing to a seamless service experience.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience

in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Skills in bartending or food preparation are advantageous. A strong understanding of food safety practices is essential. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition to help create a positive environment. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
