An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified therapist to work within the Outpatient therapy service at either Bristol Park Clinic or Bristol Hospital, on-site and remotely. We are a dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Team who work with a wide variety of presentations to offer a range therapeutic interventions to support treatment and recovery.
This position offers flexibility, allowing you to manage your own schedule and choose your preferred working hours. We're looking for a therapist who can skilfully conduct both in-person and remote sessions.
You must live locally to the area to be able to conduct face-to-face meetings/sessions as and when required.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As an ASC Assessor, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
You will also;Complete specialist assessments for individuals with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) to inform diagnosis and care planning.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT), including psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff.
Contribute to the development and review of personalised treatment plans.
Provide expert guidance, advice, and support to colleagues, patients, and families regarding the ASC.
Maintain accurate records and reports in line with professional and organisational standards.

What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
To join our team, you'll need to be accredited with BABCP, BACP, or UKCP. Ideally, you'll also bring at least three years of experience working in an outpatient setting, where you've built strong relationships with clients and referrers alike. We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about the therapy they provide. Training in EMDR, CBT, DBT, or REBT would be a great advantage and help you thrive in this role.
