The Location:
Bolton Wanderers in the Community (BWitC) is based at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, the home of Bolton Wanderers Football Club. Situated in the heart of the North-West, we are commutable from Manchester, Preston and Liverpool with great transport including strong public transport and motorway links. Middlebrook retail park is adjacent to the stadium which offers an abundance of options for lunch and leisure.

Main duties and responsibilities:
To consistently plan and deliver professional high quality coaching sessions that promote sustained participation in football and sport.
To plan and deliver football coaching sessions that provide participants with the opportunity to develop and grow both as players and as people.
To liaise with key stakeholders such as Programme Leads, school staff, and parents, to ensure that all sessions are delivered in a safe and enjoyable environment.
To be punctual and organised, ensuring that all equipment is prepared, and the venue is ready prior to the arrival of the participants.
To be responsible for the welfare of children and young people in your care, ensuring they are signed in and out of each session by a parent, carer, or designated school staff member.
To communicate your availability for sessions efficiently and professionally with Bolton Wanderers in the Community Programme Leads.
To adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures as outlined by Bolton Wanderers in the Community and report any safeguarding or welfare incidents to the appropriate Programme Lead.
To always act as an ambassador for Bolton Wanderers in the Community, representing the charity in a professional manner
To be clean and well presented, wearing full Bolton Wanderers in the Community kit.
To demonstrate a positive commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion and reporting any acts of discrimination.
To attend in-house CPD sessions or formal training when required.
Fulfil additional roles and responsibilities as required by Bolton Wanderers in the Community Programme Leads.
Essential Person Specification Qualification
Hold a minimum FA Level 2 Football Coaching Qualification.
In-date Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding Certificates.
In-date accepted Full Enhanced DBS check.
Hold a clean driving license & have own transport or be willing to use public transport to travel across the working area.
Ability and Skills:
Written and verbal communication skills
Organisation, planning and record keeping skills
IT skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
A passion to strive for continual improvement and a commitment to delivering a quality service
Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
Ability to prepare and present monitoring reports
Experience
Knowledge and experience of working with and/or coaching children and young people.
Experience of working as part of a team with other staff and/or coaches.
Understanding of Bolton Wanderers in the Community's football programmes.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Outgoing and approachable personality
