Overview



PEP- Pilton Equalities Project is a charity working with elderly and vulnerable people, also providing community transport for organisations in and around the North Edinburgh area. We have received funding to employ someone on a sessional basis for a 6 month period, ideally this would be split into 2 terms, a shorter term for the this year and a longer term in 2026.
Therefore we are seeking a motivated and reliable Gardener/Handy Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a desire to help to improve and grow our garden area, help us to provide produce and maintain the areas.

Responsibilities



Assist with gardening duties, including planting, pruning, and maintaining flower beds and shrubs. Perform general maintenance tasks. Utilise hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Collaborate with team members to achieve high standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly after use.

Experience Required



Basic knowledge of gardening, planting and the ability to work well with others.
