We are looking for a Lecturer - Foundation Learning to join our well-established and successful Foundation Learning team, working with our students on the construction pathway.
Our Foundation Learning provision is an experienced and dedicated team focused on excellent outcomes for our students.
Interviews for this role will be taking place w/c 11 August, 2025.
Your duties
You will:
Lecture and train Foundation Learning Students
Develop Learning Support Programmes and materials
Supervise a team of Learning Support Assistants
Assess students' initial support needs and monitor progress
Arrange appropriate additional support for examinations
Person specification
The successful candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:
A minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
Commitment to and evidence of CPD
Experience of working in a similar role
Experience of working with learners with additional needs
Relevant qualifications or experience of working with animals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience of working with post 16 students
Evidence of successful classroom practice which motivates students
