We are looking for a passionate, experienced and engaging Sessional Physiotherapist to join our amazing team working within our Community Football division.

The Location:

Bolton Wanderers in the Community (BWitC) is based at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, the home of Bolton Wanderers Football Club. Situated in the heart of the North-West, we are commutable from Manchester, Preston and Liverpool with great transport including strong public transport and motorway links. Middlebrook retail park is adjacent to the stadium which offers an abundance of options for lunch and leisure.

Experience



Knowledge and experience of working with children and young people. 2 years' experience providing physiotherapy for a sport team Experience of working as part of a team with other staff and/or coaches. Understanding of Bolton Wanderers in the Community's football programmes.

The role:



Provide evidenced based treatment & rehabilitation of injured players Provide support on a range of Football Development match days/fixtures. Provide effective assessment and appropriate treatment interventions for all players and providing support for diagnosis and treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of injuries and medical interventions to include injury reporting form, remedies, and treatment plans. To understand and implement the Charity's Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to a safe environment. To be able to work flexible hours where the role of the job requires. To work towards agreed objectives. Comply with all Charity policies. Work alongside other team members to support in other areas of the organisation as and when required to promote best practice.

Your Skills:



Written and verbal communication skills Organisation, planning and record keeping skills IT skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes A passion to strive for continual improvement and a commitment to delivering a quality service Ability to work both individually and as part of a team Ability to prepare and present monitoring reports Strong organisational and communication skills. Outgoing and approachable personality

Essential:



BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy or near completion. HCPC membership. CSP membership. Medical indemnity. A full UK driving license. Previous experience of working with sports people. The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
