Job Responsibilities:
to create a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for children
to plan and provide stimulating play opportunities to encourage children from all backgrounds to develop and express themselves socially and emotionally
setting up play equipment and making sure play areas are safe
supervising children during play, dealing with any minor injuries
to work closely with parents and staff to provide practical information and assistance
preparing snacks for the children
to ensure that any issues in relation to safeguarding children or adults at risk are brought to the immediate attention of the Support Services Manager or if unavailable another manager
to maintain confidentiality and to ensure that professional boundaries are observed when working with clients, staff and external bodies and to work within Restore's Code of Conduct
to work primarily in Bury St Edmunds with potential occasional work in Haverhill, Newmarket and Stowmarket (travel expenses paid).
