This exciting role will include:
Using your site, craft, and practical experience and knowledge to help students on our Eastbourne site fulfil their potential in construction skills.
Teaching on our 14-16 programmes, Foundation Courses and Level 1 and 2 City & Guilds Diplomas, providing students with the theoretical and practical skills to create top-quality construction/multi-skills projects.
Planning and delivering lessons to meet the requirements of the C&G curriculums.
Providing real-world problems to challenge students' abilities, engaging in open conversations, assessing their work, and keeping accurate records of progress.
If you can demonstrate the following then we'd love to hear from you:
Experience of teaching and ideally knowledge of the C&G curriculum.
A genuine desire to pass on your skills and wisdom, guiding and inspiring students, and motivating them to learn and demonstrate their practical skills.
Experience of internal verification processes and a TAQA. (desirable)
Ability to teach other basic trade skills, such as bricklaying, painting & decorating, or plumbing.
