The Role:
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS) is looking to recruit Sessional Teaching Fellows for our bank of teaching staff to contribute to the delivery, administration and assessment of elements of programmes delivered within the School of Education, Languages and Linguistics (SELL) at undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as providing pastoral support to students in the form of tutorials.
We are seeking Sessional Teaching Fellows to support teaching on the following
subject areas:
Early Childhood Studies (BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies)
Childhood & Youth Studies (BA (Hons) Childhood & Youth Studies)
Educational Psychology, Youth Work and Policy (BA (Hons) Childhood & Youth Studies & BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies)
MPA Public Administration
TESOL
Linguistics (BA English Language and Linguistics; MA Applied Linguistics)
All languages (MA Translation Studies; BA (Hons) Modern Languages: French, German, Spanish, Mandarin, Chinese)
IWLP (Arabic, British Sign Language, Italian, Japanese, Korean)
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) (BA (Hons) International Business Communication)
Education Studies (BA (Hons) Education Studies)
The number of hours worked is flexible and by negotiation. If you have experience of teaching and assessment within an HE setting, in a relevant subject area, and are keen to use those skills to enhance our current provision, we would be interested to receive an application from you.
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online and successful candidates will be appointed to the Bank of Sessional Teaching Fellows and offered hours as required.
