We are a reputable further education provider seeking a skilled and experienced freelance tutor to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our Higher National Diploma (HND) in Construction Management students. Job Summary:

We invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team as a freelance tutor, delivering HND in Construction Management modules. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and interactive lessons, assessing student work, and providing pastoral support to ensure students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials for HND in Construction's Management modules

- Plan and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and needs

- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work

- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate relevant examples into teaching practice

- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective programme delivery

- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to programme development

Essential Requirements:

- Master's degree in Constructions Management or related discipline (MBA, MSc, MA)

- PhD in Engineering or related discipline (desirable)

- At least 5 years' experience in pedagogical processes, with a focus on Constructions or related subjects

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience of using virtual learning environments (VLEs) and digital technologies

- Commitment to delivering high-quality student experiences

Desirable Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

- Experience of working with diverse student groups, including international students

- Knowledge of HND in Constructions Management curriculum and assessment requirements

- Experience of mentoring or coaching students
