We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Sessional Workers to join our team in providing exceptional residential care to our young people. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for helping others. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents, especially those living with dementia or requiring senior care.
Duties
Provide high-quality and support to residents in accordance with their individual needs.
Assist residents with daily activities.
Communicate effectively with young people, families, and team members to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
Maintain a safe and clean environment within the house.
Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to supporting young people
Document care provided and report any issues to the appropriate staff members.
Qualifications
Previous experience in care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills to engage effectively with residents and their families.
A caring attitude and the ability to empathise with individuals living in a residential home.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to work independently when required.
Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the care environment.
