We are seeking an experienced Band 3 administrator to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team at the SET CAMHS Eating Disorder Intensive Support Pathway Day Service clinic, an exciting new project.
NELFT is an experienced provider of mental health services for children and young people, already providing these services in four London boroughs. It is also one of England's largest NHS Foundation Trusts.
Desirable criteria
Using Systmone data base or similar, to interrogate patient information and update accordingly
General admin duties, including, preparation of patient letters, sorting incoming/out-going post, management of emails and incoming queries via telephone and post, photo-copying and filing
Liaising with members of staff including, clinicians and senior managers
Knowledge and experience on Microsoft applications, such as, email, excel and word
Direct telephone and face to face contact with service users and their carers/parents
Experience in administrative role within the NHS, education, social care or similar
Essential Criteria
Good organisational and admin skills
Great telephone manner and customer service skills
2 years minimum administrative experience
Friendly and flexible thinking
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure

NELFT's SET CAMHS is for anybody aged between 0-18, living in the Southend, Essex and Thurrock areas and is free at the point of entry. The service is also for young people with special educational needs (SEN) up to the age of 25.
Any young person experiencing emotional wellbeing or mental health problems, (or any parent, guardian, professional or teacher of a child who is experiencing emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties), may access our service.
