is a Hereford based business, specializing in height safety and scaffolding supplies. We cater to a large range of industries such as scaffolding construction, bricklaying, oil & gas and many more. We're looking for a full-time Sewing Machinist to join our team and come with us on our growth journey. Mon-Fri 7am-4pm.

Reporting to the Production Engineer, the

Sewing Machinist

will maintain the following duties and should have the following skillset:

Main Duties

Organise and maintain of an efficient workstation.

Operate specialist industrial sewing machines (including programmable pattern sewing machine, bartacker, lockstitch sewing machine, and more).

Operate webbing cutting machine.

Using a range of sewing machines programs.

Adhering to work instructions.

Altering machine settings to suit the type of material and finish required.

Checking that a finished article matches the pattern instructions.

Oiling and cleaning your machine.

Use given sewing production techniques and methods.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Allocate work as required.

About you

Previous experience with sewing/textiles or as a sewing machinist is essential.

A strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work.

Good communication skills to work effectively with team members.

Ability to work independently under your own initiative and meet deadlines.

Full time, salaried position

Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm

20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
