Job Overview
We are seeking a Sewing Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working as a machinist but this is not essential as training can be given. There will also be general duties within the production department to aid the production process to run smoothly and efficient.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain machining equipment, ensuring safety standards are adhered to. Quality check work as its being processed through production Perform regular inspections of machinery and tools to ensure they are in good working order. Work with team members to make sure the production processes runs smooth and improve overall efficiency. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
Experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment preferred but not essential. Understanding of machining processes, tools, and equipment if possible. Basic sewing skills would be beneficial. Attention to detail to produce high-quality work. Ability to work within a team while also being self-motivated.
Job Type: Part-time
