We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team, providing essential support across various technical and maintenance functions on Sharp Photocopiers . The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical systems, computer hardware, and equipment repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Duties
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on Photocopiers and printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs or adjustments.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot printer hardware, ensuring systems operate effectively.
Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts utilised.
Support the installation and maintenance of specialised equipment as required.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and organisational policies.
Qualifications
Proven experience or strong knowledge in Photocopier systems and equipment maintenance.
Proficiency with hand tools and basic electrical components.
Familiarity with multifunctional printer hardware assembly, repair, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
Experience with computer networking principles and setup is desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to diagnostics.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications or training in electronics, IT support, or mechanical maintenance are advantageous. This position is paid accordingly for all candidates including internship roles, offering a rewarding environment for those passionate about technical work.
