As a SHE Advisor, you will promote and ensure safety in the workplace. This includes implementing and maintaining health and safety policies, investigating incidents, supporting and conducting risk assessment reviews, and delivering training to employees. You will lead by example to encourage a positive health and safety culture and drive participation in SHE initiatives.
This role requires strong communication skills with the ability to influence, liaise across multi-discipline functions, and coach and mentor others. You will need to adapt to change and manage competing priorities in a busy working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide SHE advice and review manufacturing processes and associated documentation
Lead internal and external audits and investigations
Champion safety discussions and SHE initiatives across the site
Advise on wellbeing and occupational health matters
Support continuous improvement within production areas
Act as a key member of the incident and emergency response team
Liaise with internal functions, external organisations, and regulators
Ensure compliance with current and emerging legislation
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of risk assessments (e.g. COSHH, PUWER, LOLER)
Experience conducting accident and incident investigations
Experience conducting internal audits
Background in a highly regulated industry (e.g. COMAH, chemical, gas)
Qualifications:
NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) -
