About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SHE Advisor to join our clients Defence & Nuclear Energy team. You will play a key role in ensuring that operations are conducted safely, responsibly, and in compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations. You will support operational teams in implementing the SHE Management System, provide expert advice, and foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and influence operational and supply chain teams to implement the Group SHE Management System effectively.


Deliver and support SHE training for contract teams.


Assist contractors in meeting contract SHE requirements.


Provide feedback on performance and contribute to assessments of supply chain contractors.


Support delivery of annual SHE objectives.


Engage with SHE assurance programmes to ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.


Support investigation of incidents and ensure lessons learned are shared.


Assist in reporting, analysing, and using SHE data to guide leadership decisions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Essential:

Previous experience in a SHE role.

Desirable:

SHE experience in Defence, Nuclear, or relevant industries.


Graduate IOSH (GradIOSH).

Qualifications:

Essential:

NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH Oil and Gas Certificate or IEMA Associate Qualification (or equivalent).


Tech IOSH or Associate AIEMA (or equivalent).

Desirable:

NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety or Environmental Management (or equivalent).
