Durham Fencing and Sheds Ltd are looking for a Shed Builder to join our growing team
All types of joinery and woodworking skills will be considered
We are looking for someone who is practical and responsible to carry out the construction of sheds ensuring consistent quality and craftsmanship. This role requires attention to detail, strong hands-on skills, and the ability to work with various materials and tools and must have a good basic general knowledge of manufacturing and assembly.

Key Responsibilities:
Utilise templates to build and assemble shed components accurately.
Assemble and fit together panels, frames, roofs, and doors using both manual and power tools.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
Inspect completed sheds for quality control, ensuring they meet company standards.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of workshop equipment
Experience
Proven experience in shed making, carpentry, or a related trade is highly preferred.
Experience working with assembly tools and standard construction hand tools/ power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read and/or understand instructions given by Production Supervisor and read a tape measure.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials as required.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 - 37.5 per week
