Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure optimal utilisation of resources, timely delivery of products, and adherence to quality standards. Duties

Develop and maintain production schedules using our ERP system, ensuring alignment with customer demands and inventory levels. Coordinate with various departments including manufacturing, procurement, and quality control to facilitate smooth workflow and minimise delays. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet delivery deadlines. Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, recommending process improvements for enhanced productivity. Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on process optimisation, waste reduction, and quality enhancement. Maintain accurate records of production activities and update scheduling documentation regularly. Collaborate with engineering teams on assembly processes and mechanical considerations affecting scheduling.

Experience

Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ERP systems. Understanding of quality control standards and their integration into scheduling practices. Experience working with continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma is desirable.
