The main responsibilities of this role will be:

- TIG Welding to a High Standard

This candidate will have proven industrial experience within a Fabrication and Welding environment. They will be expected to provide evidence that they have the required skills to achieve a standard of competence in the areas of "Marking Out", "Cutting", "Forming", "Welding (mig & tig)

- Fabricating / Welding / Polishing stainless steel from 0.9mm to 3mm.

- Working from detailed CAD drawings to manufacture, weld and complete components

- Use of CNC press brakes and guillotine is an advantage

- Weld components in mild steel & stainless steel to the standard required by an employer

Polish and assemble stainless components to a high standard to form a completed unit, ensuring the unit conforms to employers/customers requirements

- Understand engineering drawings and work to strict tolerances.

- Occasional site work as required.

- Salary 15.00-18.00 per hour depending on experience.

-Completing projects within a deadline.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 -4 years of experience working in a fabrication workshop,

Personal Profile

Fit, healthy and capable of manual handling.

Experience in the field of Fabrication and Welding

Able to work as part of a team.

Able to work unsupervised to the employer's standards.

Proven track record of a high standard of workmanship.

We manufacture industrial catering equipment using traditional methods of fabrication therefore proficiency in the above skills is paramount.

Salary is negotiable dependent upon skills

Candidates will be required to demonstrate their skills at interview stage by manufacturing test piece.

Monday - Thursday: 8.00 - 4.30, Friday 8.00am - 3.30 (3 breaks)
