Job Summary

We are seeking Semi skilled and dedicated Metal Workers to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing metal components with precision and attention to detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a range of technical skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to high-quality production standards.

Duties

Preparing metal parts using various techniques such as grinding, and Sanding. Operate hand tools and specialised tooling to shape and assemble sheet metal components. Conduct grinding and finishing processes to ensure smooth surfaces and precise dimensions. Assist in the assembly of metal structures or products according to technical drawings and specifications. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary. Assist with paint preparation at the paint line. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in metalworking roles. Mechanical knowledge of tools, machinery, and sheet metal processes. Proficiency with hand tools, tooling, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience working with sheet metal is desirable but not essential. A positive attitude towards safety procedures and continuous learning in the field of metalworking.
