Alphasonics are looking for an experienced Sheetmetal Worker/Fabricator Welder for the construction and assembly of their stainless steel tanks of various sizes. All of the tanks are of between 2mm and 3mm thick and of various dimensions. The successful applicant should be conversant with the operation of both a press-brake and guillotine, as well as TIG welding to a good standard. The quality expected is high. The ability to read and interpret dimensioned drawings is also required. The ability to work without supervision within a small team of multi-skilled colleagues is also a must. At Alphasonics we work to a quality management system, it is important to be able to read and follow procedures also, be able to be competent with paperwork ie checking items off and ensuring steel has been tested and certified. You will at times be required to work with other departments within the company.

Starting Salary - 32,240 (15.50 per hour)
There will be a 6-month probation period for this role.
