We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing metal components with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities

Fabricate metal components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised machinery. Perform grinding, welding, and assembly tasks to meet project specifications. Measure and mark materials accurately using basic maths skills to ensure proper fit and function. Operate tooling equipment safely and efficiently to shape sheet metal and other materials. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to fabrication equipment as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, grinding, welding, and assembly of metal parts. Mechanical knowledge of tools, machinery, and sheet metal processes. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment safely. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise work consistently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy manufacturing environment. Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to metalworking operations is preferred.
