Overview

We are seeking a Ductwork Metal Worker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing metal components with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities

Fabricate metal parts using various techniques including cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal components. Read technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of components. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or assembly processes. Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet specified standards and tolerances. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Assist in the setup and calibration of machinery as required for different projects.

Experience

Proven experience in fabrication, welding, grinding, or related metalworking roles. Familiarity with sheet metal work and the use of hand tools such as grinders, welders, and measuring instruments. Mechanical knowledge including understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience with assembly processes involving metal components is desirable. Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Prior experience working with tooling equipment in a manufacturing or workshop environment is advantageous.
