An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, pro-active and driven SHEQ Professional to join the team and lead the SHEQ function within the business.

Key Responsibilities



As SHEQ Manager you will be responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation, whilst also ensuring the businesses compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

This will involve working closely with Senior Management, Site Teams and Regulatory Bodies to promote a company-wide safety and quality culture.

Tasks & Duties



Included but not limited to: -

Leading the SHEQ function of the business Providing guidance and support to the wider team, including Senior Management, Site Managers, Operatives and Subcontractors Carrying out regular site visits and safety audits to ensure safety and compliance standards are being maintained Conducting internal audits and ensure continuous improvement in quality management systems Investigation, monitoring and reporting of any incidents or accidents SHEQ documentation control and management Implementation of preventative actions to reduce/remove risk Creation and rollout of any business wide Health & Safety campaigns Producing detailed risk assessments and method statements Support in ensuring subcontractor compliance with Health & Safety Assisting with External Audits Preparing and delivering SHEQ and KPI reports for Senior Management Keeping up to date with Health & Safety law and any other regulatory changes Keeping all staff up to date with training Driving continual improvement

Key Candidate Requirements



Proven SHEQ Manager experience within the demolition or construction industry (at least 3 years)

Strong understanding of UK health, safety, environmental, and ESG legislation

Demonstrable experience of introducing SHEQ initiatives to drive improvement

Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards

NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent

Valid In Date UK Driving Licence
