ROLE

PURPOSE





This is a role within our Operations department where you will develop and maintain quality, safety and environment management systems aligned with ISO standards. It will be your responsibility as the SHEQ Manager to conduct inspections, audits across our estate, systems and suppliers. You will also assist the functional teams in ensuring compliance is maintained across all business areas against company standards and regulations.



You will implement and enforce safety procedures for all business areas including facilities management and construction activities. You will lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and incident investigations and ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and other relevant SHEQ legislation.



Reporting to our Head of Safety (SHEQ), the role will also have responsibility for administrating the systems including record keeping, managing safety systems, collation of performance data and staff onboarding.



The role is based in central London and will work with colleagues across all parts of our business and may require travel across the UK.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES




Provide SHEQ advice across the business, mentoring workers and suppliers to raise standards. Collate incident and accident data, gather information, conduct SHEQ investigations, and prepare RIDDOR reports as necessary. Analyse safety compliance data from across the business and identify trends, supporting the Head of Safety to identify and implement SHEQ improvement plans. Maintain an appropriate Safety training matrix for all roles across the business, leading on content definition aligned to role related risk assessments. Co-ordinate and support training, and where appropriate deliver training. Maintain and improve the SHEQ management systems across the business. Support development of our safety governance framework including the preparation and management of policies, process and guidance.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE





ESSENTIAL


NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health. Experience of quality and environmental management. Experience in developing, maintaining, improving and auditing of SHEQ related ISO management systems. Effective communicator with strong written and document preparation skills. Numerate with a strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Good time management and the ability to prioritise and manage a large and diverse workload. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.

DESIRED


NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health IRCA lead auditor Experience of working in property management and a similar business is desirable
