Based at Planetary Road, Wolverhampton Office (WV13 3XA) and other Cadent sites - typically 2 days per week in office & 3 days on site

SHEs Advisor

to play a vital role in driving safety, health, environmental, and quality performance across our Emergency Response & Repair and Operate & Maintain operations.



In this pivotal position, you'll be the go-to expert for SHE compliance, ensuring our teams work safely and responsibly while delivering exceptional service. From advising on legislation to supporting audits and investigations, you'll help embed a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement.

Lead on Safety & Compliance:

Provide expert advice to ensure all operational activities meet SHE legislation and Cadent's Safety & Environment Management Systems.

Drive Best Practice:

Share and implement technical and procedural excellence across the business.

Support Investigations:

Guide incident investigations and ensure accurate reporting for internal and regulatory purposes.

Champion Audits:

Assist with ISO 14001 audits and compliance inspections.

Stay Ahead:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, standards, and codes of practice.

What You'll Bring


---------------------

Qualifications:

HNC or equivalent, plus NEBOSH or similar safety qualification.

Experience:

Proven background in a SHE-focused role with strong knowledge of legislation and risk management principles.

Skills:

Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with SHE policies and regulatory requirements.
