About the Role:


We are looking for a skilled and proactive

Shift Engineer with a mechanical bias

to join our team at a static site in central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional facilities management environment, supporting the smooth operation of building systems and ensuring compliance with safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across

mechanical systems

and general building services. Maintain and troubleshoot systems including: + Pumps
+ Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
+ Air Handling Units (AHUs)
+ Domestic plumbing systems and minor repairs
+ Water hygiene systems
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures. Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 4) following an initial onboarding period.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:



Relevant mechanical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering) Control of Legionella / Water Hygiene certification (dated within 2 years) or similar awareness qualification Proven experience in building services or facilities maintenance

Desirable:



Electrical awareness or multi-skilled engineering experience Fire door inspection qualification
