to join our client, a global leader in medical technology. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to support production operations, mentor production technicians, and drive improvements in equipment performance, productivity, and safety.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong problem-solving abilities, engineering aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and support to Production Technicians in resolving complex machine-related faults.
Act as a process expert for specific equipment, sharing knowledge and guiding others.
Mentor Production Technicians in fault diagnosis and effective use of technology.
Utilise PCs, HMI screens, MES, and SAP systems for fault diagnosis, equipment management, and maintenance logging.
Identify and implement equipment improvements focused on cost reduction, productivity, quality, and health & safety.
Support Project and Process Groups during installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Lead small process improvement projects, coordinating with Toolroom, Quality, and Validation teams.
The Ideal Candidate
At least a
Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering
(or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a
high-volume assembly/manufacturing environment
.
Proficient IT skills, with experience using
SAP
for maintenance logging, ordering parts, and fault diagnosis.
Strong background in
hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, electrical, and servo systems
(highly desirable).
Excellent fault-finding skills and strong engineering aptitude.
Strong communication skills with a collaborative, positive, and patient approach to mentoring.

Shift:
Night shift (11:00 pm - 11:00 am), 3 days on / 3 days off.
