YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:
Ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations during assigned shifts, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services.
Manage, motivate, and support front-line staff, ensuring team members adhere to company policies and provide excellent service.
Address guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure efficient communication and guest readiness.
Supervise the check-in/check-out process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to procedures.
Review and prepare shift reports, logs, and handovers for accurate record-keeping and shift continuity.
Maintain a secure environment for guests and staff by monitoring hotel security protocols and addressing safety concerns.
Support training and onboarding of new employees, and provide ongoing coaching to improve team performance.
Inspect public areas and rooms periodically to ensure cleanliness and brand standards are met.
Assist hotel management with administrative tasks, performance reviews, and operational improvement initiatives.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
Minimum 1-2 year's previous experience of a management role, from an Internationally recognised branded hotel
Ability to analyse performance metrics
Know how to set and manage a budget to achieve optimal returns
Candidates with a strong Front office background are preferred
A good working knowledge of Opera PMS,is desired
