Duties

Supervise and support kitchen and front-of-house staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards. Manage team performance by providing guidance, training, and support to enhance skills in culinary techniques and customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimising waste. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction. Collaborate with management to implement new menu items or promotions effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is crucial for maintaining compliance. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with both staff and customers.
