We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee operations in our bustling restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, along with exceptional leadership skills. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our team delivers outstanding service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies. Manage and lead a team of staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive working environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards. Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Assist in training new employees on operational procedures and best practices in hospitality. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. Collaborate with management to develop menus, implement promotional activities, and manage inventory. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the establishment.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent leadership skills, capable of motivating staff to achieve their best performance. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience in kitchen operations or culinary roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with serving techniques and customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.
