Job:

Shift Manager

:

Manage the production department at shift level always ensuring the health and safety, environmental and quality targets are met. Coordinate between departments ensuring key instructions are followed. First point of contact for incidents leading the ERT team within their shift

Specific Tasks:

Guide their shift and associated work to comply fully with the site health and safety requirements. Monitor environmental and quality parameters, react if required following the set guidelines Ensure their shift is fully trained in emergency response and lead their shift in incidents if required, respond swiftly and professionally to fire alarms or other incidents coordinating between departments. Support the Production Manager in issuing permits in the production area following the isolation procedure and Safe System of Work procedure. Drive the housekeeping standards of the mill and cascade the expectations of the Production Manager to the shift. Actively drive ECO.
