Job Description

We are looking to recruit a hands-on Team Leader to oversee shift by shift operations and managing a team of approximately 10 staff.

You must be confident to be left to run the restaurant as if it was your own business, and to coach a team that can support you in the successful and efficient running of the shift.

The restaurant's opening hours will be: 11:00 - 23:00 Monday to Sunday. Morning staff will be scheduled from 09:30 to set up for opening. Closing staff will be scheduled until 23:30
for closing tasks.

Our stores aim to hold an aesthetically pleasing value. We aim to present a 1950's retro Americana genre whilst boasting a black and purple colour scheme alongside with distinctive lighting which adds a trendy, unique looking design and feel.

We have created a wide range of sundaes, milkshakes, and desserts that contain recipes which give indulging flavours that can only be experienced at Creams. Our Cafes are a place to visit during any time of the day and is suitable for all age groups.

General Duties:

Assist the management team with staff training and coaching. Support your business by ensuring you lead by example and represent the brand values in how you work. Shift planning and breaks. Cashing up, closing and opening the store. Operate at all times with a fair, reasonable and consistent approach. Follow all company and legal procedures. Support your team to deliver efficient and friendly service in store. Always engage customers and communicate clearly. Create the environment and atmosphere in your store, Deal effectively with customer complaints and queries in store taking responsibility to resolve these wherever possible. Look for opportunities to improve customer service and action these in store. Consistently deliver excellent standards and use all tools provided. Keep your store clean at all times Ensure all members of your team follow Health and Safety, COSHH and Food Hygiene regulations at all times. Coach and correct on shift where any standard is not being delivered to our brand expectations and fix the root cause of any problem. Grow customer numbers and deliver the key financial targets to budget. Ensure that your store's paperwork is to standard and completed accurately. Minimise wastage without affecting availability. Ensure all stock is correctly controlled, stored and rotated.
